Donna J. Napolitano joined Project SPEAK in December, 2018. Retired after 26 years in education, she worked as a teacher, department coordinator, grant-writer, middle school assistant principal, elementary principal and Special Education Principal/CSE Chairperson for students with special needs. She earned her MS degree in Education from SUNY New Paltz, as well as a CAS degree in Educational Administration.
Her special education experiences include program and related service coordination for K-12 special education students in Out of District placements- BOCES, private day and residential schools. As Central CSE chairperson, she had direct and ongoing communication with administration, teachers, parents, service providers, transportation services, education advocates and legal services in regard to student attendance and academic, social, behavioral and emotional needs/issues.
