Mary Krauze joined Project SPEAK in April of 2017. As a parenting specialist and child advocate, she has worked with incarcerated parents and their families at state and local correctional facilities, including Mid-Orange Correctional Facility and The Children’s Center at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility. She has also served as a learning specialist and trainer for a children’s service agency, and as a domestic violence advocate, providing educational and cognitive behavioral interventions for women and children impacted by homelessness and battering. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from William Paterson University with advanced training in criminal justice human services and the needs of children and families affected by intergenerational trauma, incarceration, and domestic violence.
